Marina Petrovskaia, a.k.a. Cinewindow Productions, produces documentaries independently. Born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), Russia, she holds an M.F.A. in Film and Media Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia and is currently based in Gainesville, Florida. As a director, Petrovskaia is drawn to investigative storytelling that transcends international, social, and political boundaries.
The impact of the film will be much stronger when presented in its original resolution on the big screen. That's why I need to prepare a DCP for the screening at Visible Evidence XXXII in December 2026. I am looking for in-kind contributions to help with color correction and DCP creation. I would be delighted to collaborate with filmmakers and post-production professionals from around the world who are willing to support the project through in-kind contributions.
I produced the first screener on my own. Its resolution is 1920 × 1080, and it worked well as an online screener. However, my original footage was filmed in native 4K Cinema (4096 × 2160), which allows for the creation of a high-quality DCP for theatrical projection.
