Co-founder and Creative Director of Galgo Storytelling, she co-directed the virtual reality documentary Ancestral Secret VR, which premiered at IDFA DocLab 2024 and has since toured more than 25 international festivals. Her work spans feature films, shorts, music videos, and new media projects, always exploring the intersection between storytelling, technology, and community.
María José Díaz
María José Díaz is a Chilean producer and XR creator whose work explores the human condition and our relationship with nature through innovative documentary storytelling. She is the co-director and producer of Ancestral Secret VR. She directs and produce non-fiction films across cinematic and immersive formats.
