In May, Zere visited Chances Crisis Center to deliver 1200 Euros, helping to pay four months of rent, allowing them to keep their doors open this summer. She also delivered 520 Euros to K.A., the woman who appears in the film (Zere protests on her behalf after she was attacked by government officials), allowing her to pay her rent and feed her family for one month while she continues to look for work.
Both the Director of Chances and K.A. were incredibly moved by this gesture of solidarity on their behalf. We are grateful for the generous support by our film audiences to allow these women to remain hopeful. Thank you! Thank you!
We plan to deliver another round of funding to Chances in September or October.
