Alisa Kovalenko is an award-winning Ukrainian documentary filmmaker. Her films "Alisa in Warland" (IDFA 2015), "Home Games" (Sheffield Doc/Fest 2018), "We Will Not Fade Away" (Berlinale 2023), and "My Dear Theo" (CPH:DOX 2025) have screened at major festivals worldwide, winning numerous awards. Alisa is also a former captive and survivor of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV). Since 2019, Alisa has served as a board member of SEMA Ukraine, and since 2025, a member of SEMA, the Global Network of CRSV survivors.
