Serendipity has quietly shaped creativity, art, science, and human progress. Yet the institutional recognition contrasts sharply with widespread perception. For many, serendipity is misunderstood, dismissed as distraction, or reserved for the “lucky ones”.

An award-winning Canadian filmmaker, Bertrand Lemeunier, embarks on an astonishing 4,500 km cycling adventure with his family to uncover the mysteries of serendipity in life and art. For the first time, 17 acclaimed artists share how unplanned, fortunate discoveries shaped their work, their choices, and their lives.
