Help us support the family with their only option to stay in Juárez and make it their home.

After January 20th, 2025, everything changed at the U.S.-Mexico border. The Trump administration halted asylum, and the thousands of people who were awaiting their immigration appointments were left stranded. This film follows a family who left Colombia due to threats of violence and arrived in Juárez in 2025. In this new political landscape, their only option is to stay in Juárez and make it home. They team up with a family from Guatemala to rent a house in the city, and together, face the challenge of integrating into a city who considers their presence temporary.
