ShareDoc brings an innovative take as the first platform entirely focusing on documentaries and leveraging the power of QR codes. The platform comes with a broad range of benefits and opportunities for documentary professionals as producers, filmmakers to festival-organizers, and distributors, providing easy access to tools that will enable them to amplify visibility and create strong bonds with their audience. What is more, ShareDoc stands as a crossroad between every players involved in the documentary industry from filmmakers, festival organizers as well as protagonists involved in documentaries. .
Raise awareness with micro-campaigns
ShareDoc enables filmmakers to enhance their message. It is particularly true if it is related to an urgent matter, as the audience can quickly take action to help the protagonist or the charity involved. The mico-campaigns appear extremely progressive, enabling the filmmakers to gain visibility, share additional content and interact with their audience.
Online visibility made easy!
With ShareDoc, filmmakers can easily avoid the hassles and costs of building a website dedicated to collect donations. With its integrated payment system, the platform brings all the support they need to easily support a cause and raise funds that could have a life changing impact for the protagonists. Furthermore, the platform will enable the filmmakers to communicate with their audience in several European languages.
By running micro-campaigns for filmmakers, ShareDoc will enhance the visibility of the documentary while it is running. These micro-campaigns will include updates about the protagonist, promotion of the film across the platform and ShareDoc's network, follow-up news, and info on screening locations. At the end of the campaign, the film and its results will remain available on ShareDoc. The filmmaker will collect and transfer the donations to the protagonists and charities involved if any.

ShareDoc for Film Festivals
Our platform comes with plenty of benefits for film festivals. Not only will the organization team find relevant information to program the films during the event. Our platform will also give access to insightful audience engagement data and feature which movie stood out.
This information will enable your team to identify important topics. What is more, ShareDoc could impact the future of film festivals by bringing an active dimension to the core of an activity that used to be passive and conversational.
Eventually, ShareDoc has the potential to make a positive impact amongst film distributors and NGOs looking for action-oriented documentaries or seeking exposure to enhance distribution. As a multilingual platform available in French and German, ShareDoc has the potential to impact the industry, including distributors seeking action-oriented documentaries or seeking exposure to enhance the distribution. By raising awareness of a cause, NGOs can benefit from ShareDoc and leverage the platform as a performance tool to gain visibility and scalability.
Human Rights-related films are no longer a niche!
If our platform focuses on Human Rights Films, we do not only address Human Rights Film Festivals. Most European film festivals are involved in human rights and screen films in that category.
Due to increasing environmental issues, ShareDoc expects an increasing number of films in this category in the upcoming years.
They loved ShareDoc!
Here is why we believe our platform can be a success and a critical disruption in the film industry!
Watching a heavy documentary is one thing, but leaving it helpless after watching is not make me happy. If I were satisfied and able to act, I would go to this type of film more often.'
Share.Doc mission is critical. As a film festival, we aim to collaborate with the platform for several reasons. Mainly, the project has the potential to become a single platform continually working with impact and with specific human-rights documentaries, which are the core of our festival programming strategy. With more human-rights documentary film festivals on board, there is a space for networking and closer collaboration.
Organizer Festival One World
The audience can be more willing to visit specific documentaries if they can be involved instead of being reduced to passivity. The more festivals engage with ShareDoc, the greater the possibility of a united industry that encourages dialogue between the audience, filmmakers, protagonists, and festival representatives. Through more elaborate forms of collaboration, ShareDoc and film festivals could work together to encourage the rise of an engaged audience willing to go beyond the film experience and engage in broader social changes.
Ondřej Kamenický, Director One World
ShareDoc can become a critical instrument of change in the industry.
I believe it can lead to more satisfied audiences at our film festival and significant changes for the protagonists. It would change our image from being an information-oriented and discussion-oriented festival to an action-oriented festival. It is innovative as there are no similar initiatives, apart from several crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe, but these are not focused on the documentary industry.
Eric van de Giessen, past International Support, Movies that Matter)
Interesting concept. Well done. I think it matters to offer a pathway for audiences to engage in collective action.
Beth Seymour, ACT Human Rights Film Festival Colorado.
Share.Doc is a great incentive to continue to bind us to the audience.
We think the platform has the potential to rise as a critical instrument in the film industry to engage the audience and create an interactive realm while supporting a cause and shared values.
As a festival organizer, I spot the opportunity to discover information about documentaries, insights about audience engagement, and the possibility of receiving guidance on the films that truly made an impact. ShareDoc is a very innovative concept that could enhance our programming and promotion strategy.
After 11 years of involvement as a partner at IDFA, I have observed that after seeing a documentary, people often ask: how can I help?
As an organizer, I cannot answer this question nor offer individual assistance. ShareDoc bridges the gap by enabling the audience to act independently and instantly. I feel the platform will enhance the already existing interest in Human Rights films.
